  I made the "Pigeon Point Run," a half-day trip spanning about 6 miles of the Trinity River. During my trip, I was in Matt's boat, and Riley was guiding the other. Before we left, Matt explained how to row & proper procedure for staying safe on the river, which was helpful for us first-timers. I fell out a couple times during the trip but never felt in danger. We stopped a few times to swim, twice to jump off rocks and once at the "Otter's Playground" which along with Hell Hole was a highlight of the trip.
  
  Matt was a great guide who kept everyone doing what they needed to in stressful situations and was professionally unphased by the interpersonal tension between passengers, but didn't let them get in the way of navigating the river. Both guides kept the entire group cheerful & enjoying all aspects of the trip even when small injuries happened to occur. They provided a range of options for diversions, including a nature hike that we didn't go on as well as all the swimming opportunities we did take.
  
  Their prices are reasonable and their website is easy to use (although an online order form wouldn't be a bad investment for them). I would have given Matt a tip but I didn't have any cash so I promised this review instead.
